DONATION OF 5 PERSONAL COMPUTERS AND 2 UPSs

On December 13th, 2020, under the service theme of “Youth,” the Lions Club of Colombo LEADS successfully executed a project aimed at enhancing educational resources for young learners at the Sinharaja Cave Monastery. The project involved the donation of five personal computers and two uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) to the Pirivena, the educational wing of the monastery. This initiative was designed to support and empower the educational journey of 50 novice monks, providing them with essential technological tools to facilitate their learning experience. The project was chaired by Lion K. K. N. K. Chinthaka, whose leadership and dedication ensured the smooth execution and successful completion of the donation. This contribution reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to youth development and educational support, aligning with their broader mission of community service and upliftment.
