40 CATERACT SURGERIES

In Colombo, Sri Lanka, a meaningful initiative is set to unfold. We are proud to announce a significant step toward changing lives and bringing light into the world, quite literally. On the 21st of October, we, the members of the Lions Club of Colombo, along with the support of other well-wishers, embark on a journey to perform 40 cataract surgeries, a purely charitable project designed to benefit the underprivileged in our community.

A Clear Vision of Compassion:

Our mission is simple yet profound – to restore vision and transform lives. Cataracts, a common cause of vision impairment, disproportionately affect the underprivileged in our society. For many, it’s a barrier to a life filled with color and clarity. Our project aims to remove this barrier, one surgery at a time.
