NEW MEMBERS INDUCTION CEREMONY 2022

On July 29, 2022, the Lions Club of Colombo LEADS hosted its New Members Induction Ceremony, marking a momentous occasion of growth and renewal for our club. The event was graced by the chief guest, PDG Amara Dissanayake PMJF MAF JP, whose leadership and commitment to the Lions movement added a distinguished touch to the proceedings.

PDG Amara Dissanayake conducted the induction, welcoming three enthusiastic young Lions into our esteemed organization. We are proud to introduce:

• Lion Umen Samaranayake, an engineering student from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
• Lion Sandamal Ferdinandez, a medical student from Medical College, Malaysia.
• Lion Kaviru Methnuka, a medical student from Colombo Medical Faculty, Sri Lanka.

Their induction signifies the expansion of our club and the infusion of fresh energy and innovative ideas. These young leaders bring a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm that will undoubtedly enrich our community service efforts.

The ceremony highlighted our club’s commitment to fostering leadership, community service, and camaraderie. With these dynamic individuals, we are poised to continue our mission of making a meaningful impact in our community.
